RFI - Bologna Centrale station: two new meeting points for assistance for persons with reduced mobility

At Bologna Centrale, the number of meeting points for the assistance and accompaniment service - at the station and on board trains - for people with reduced mobility has increased from four to six.

The two new meeting points are located at the entrance to Viale Pietramellara (access to the platforms of Piazzale Ovest) and at the atrium on Via de' Carracci, to promote intermodality with the new People Mover service, the monorail connecting the central station to Guglielmo Marconi airport.

The other four meeting points remain unchanged: two on Piazza delle Medaglie d'Oro - in the taxi arrival and departure area and two on the Kiss&Ride floor, column 35 - in the private car and taxi parking areas.

The service is managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana’s PRM Assistance Network.
