Pursuant to the provisions of Article 15 of Legislative Decree 112/2015, RFI publishes the Business Plan - July 2025 edition - for launch of the consultation phase.
The main novelties and changes compared to the 2024 Plan are listed and described in a dedicated section of the document’s introduction.
As before, the Plan is divided into four sections: Local Public Transport, Long Distance, Freight and National Plans. Each section provides information through interactive tools, visual narratives and downloadable documents, with a focus on ease of navigation from a user experience perspective.
The Business Plan sets out the technological and infrastructural development actions implemented by RFI to foster the growth of both passenger and freight rail transport. These initiatives are aligned with expected market scenarios, customer needs, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana Business Plan, and with FS Italiane Group Industrial Plan.
