Building tomorrow's network today

Our network extends nationwide, connecting cities and small towns to major international routes

An extensive network for integrated and efficient mobility

An extensive network for integrated and efficient mobility

Our network is extensive, solid and reliable. Tens of thousands of kilometres of track and electrified lines, hundreds of bridges, tunnels, and stations together with freight and ferry facilities connect our Country safely and sustainably, every single day. Millions of travellers and tonnes of goods circulate every year on our network, forming a dense fabric between small towns and large metropolises, between Italy and major international routes.

To increase the Italian system's connectivity, integration and sustainability

To increase the Italian system's connectivity, integration and sustainability

A network projected into the future, through the most advanced technologies, making it a world leader in security and reliability. A high standard of efficiency destined to grow and evolve to offer an even better performance. Thanks to our network development projects, we contribute to the sustainability and attractiveness of the Country, by focusing on meeting people and goods mobility needs, and increasing the connectivity and integration of the Italian system.

To ensure maximum inclusion and participation of local institutions in sharing projects, when developing works with environmental, economic and social impact.

We connect Italy to the rest of Europe, every day

We connect Italy to the rest of Europe, every day

As the National Infrastructure Manager, we carry out projects for Italy to develop a transnational railway system for passenger and freight transport. We participate in the rail network expansion at decision-making, management and operational level, along the intermodal corridors of the TEN-T network. We play a leading role in foreign cooperation relations, working on the construction of a large network of connections for international and sustainable mobility
